Standard 23: Traveling the Quality Road

Track: Standards and Accreditation

Session Number: 6004
Date: Tue, Nov 19th, 2019
Time: 10:15 AM - 11:00 AM

Effectively implementing a quality managements system (QMS) consistent with either NCCA Standard 23 or ISO 17024 can give provide many benefits to your organization, however implementation is not always easy. Quality goes beyond the  “perfect audit” leading to accreditation which is the visible "proof" of a strong foundation. Quality is what is behind the paperwork and is the attitude the organization has about what they do. Knowing that an organization's  service or product is excellent because the internal procedures can be trusted completely moves an organization from good enough to great. Getting from good to great is a lot like being a long haul trucker taking Route 66 across the country, and we will use this analogy to describe the "Quality Road".
