A Multi-Level Fairness Model for Equivalency and Bias

This session will inspire participants to invest resources into the ongoing improvement of test fairness. The facilitators will explore sources of test bias and the methods used to evaluate their impact on scores and pass/fail decisions. The presenters will propose a multi-level “Fairness Model” to describe the extent to which a credentialing program ensures fairness through its strategies for reducing bias and improving equivalency.
