Leveraging Candidate Learning Opportunities to Grow Your Certification Program
Track: Business of Certification
In the period of time between when a prospective candidate considers whether to take a certification exam and when the candidate takes a certification exam, three key levers align: the candidate exhibits clear intent to sign up for the exam, the candidate takes action to get ready for the exam, and the candidate feels ready to take the exam. This Decision Phase of the Candidate Journey is often where many organizations lose a significant portion of prospective candidates. This session will highlight how organizations can grow their certification programs by offering a meaningful Candidate Learning Experience to enable the transition between the Consideration and Action stages for prospective certification candidates.
The Human Resources Certification Institute (HRCI) and BenchPrep will present a case study which outlines how organizations can use various types of learning opportunities to increase the number of prospective candidates who enroll and take their certification exams. The presentation will highlight a specific implementation by HRCI as well as industry trends observed by BenchPrep.
